RUD Chains LiftEx Exhibit Packed with Lifting Innovation

RUD Chains Ltd, a leading manufacturer of high quality chain components and systems, has increased interest in its exhibit at LiftEx 2013, which takes place at the UK’s USN Bolton Arena, 14-15 November.

Now in its ninth year, LiftEx is the UK’s only annual trade exhibition dedicated to the overhead lifting industry. Admission is free for visitors.

RUD, which is ISO 9001 certified, will show one of its latest innovations and most popular new products—the WBPG hoist ring for heavy duty lifting. The WBPG can be supplied from 85-200t making it a suitable product for a wide variety of working environments from heavy engineering, offshore, ship yards to the construction industry, to name just a few.

The WBPG is loadable from any side in the direction of the pivot meaning it is suitable for lifting and turning of heavy loads. It offers threaded holes for the Starpoint VRS for easy vertical assembly.

The VLBS-U-LT 2.5t welded load ring will also be on show, offering a major distinctive feature operating to temperatures as low as -45°C, perfect for many offshore, arctic offshore and specialised construction projects.

LiftEx visitors will also see a range of lifting and lashing applications on the RUD stand, offering over 270 different tested and certified lifting/lashing points, 210 of which are for bolting and 60 for welding, used across a wide range of working environments. 

RUD Chains now supplies lifting products with embedded RFID chips. RFID technology has been specifically designed to track and identify applications quickly and effortlessly, making inspections and documentation of products a quick and easy process.
