In industry news, Columbus McKinnon Corp.'s new CM Bandit ratchet lever hoist that has now been launched in Canada, will available to the U.S. market in October; the new ratchet lever hoist is the first in the world to be HMI-Certified.

The CM Bandit's compact design and short handle makes it ideal for use in confined spaces. Its portability, easy free chaining, and 360˚ rotating handle makes it designed for versatility. It’s upper and lower hooks swivel and are bolted-on for easy inspection and removal, and both feature wide throat openings for quick load attachment. Corrosion resistant parts and zinc- plated load chain also give the product long life in almost any environment.
