LHA sponsors Skyjack in Shitbox Rally

LHA is proud to be a sponsor of Skyjack’s entry in the biannual Shitbox Rally raising money for Cancer charities. Team 19ft High Club will be taking place in the October event driving its “Shitbox” 3614km between Melbourne and Townsville.

The Shitbox Rally is not a race, rather a challenge to drive cars worth just AU$1,000 across Australia via some of its most formidable roads, all in the name of charity.

Team member and Skyjack Australia Pty Ltd, sales manager Jason Cranmer said, “We have been overwhelmed with support and currently have 50 sponsors and we have raised over AU$55,000 for the Cancer Council. Our original target of AU$20,000 has been smashed so we have now increased it to AU$80,000.”

He continues, “Our good friends at the HRIA have made some space at HIRE19 so our van will be there on display to drum up more support and sponsorship.

“We have purchased a Mitsubishi L300 Van with over 450,000k on the clock – a true Shitbox,” said Cranmer – the vehicle will be decked out in its new livery and sporting its sponsors’ logos when it gets to the HIRE 19 show.
