Haulotte Group appoints new North American Vice President of AWP Sales
Haulotte-Biljax of Archbold, Ohio, has named Bernie Duque as its vice president of aerial work platforms, effective February 1, 2011.
In his new position, Duque will be responsible for all aspects of sales and distribution for Haulotte aerial work platforms in North America.
He will be working closely with Haulotte’s director of Marketing/Aftermarket, Steve Gooding, on the company’s new initiative to manufacture more AWP models at its Archbold, Ohio, factory, the company’s new 24/7 customer service support line, rapid parts-response program, and stepped-up service training efforts.
Duque’s appointment was announced by Haulotte’s North American General Manager, Michael Kuharik, who says, “Bernie is comfortable with all levels of management from strategic thinking to field implementation. He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in building effective sales teams and in implementing customer focused business practices. Bernie’s extensive knowledge of the aerial industry, distribution and the rental channel, along with his passion for developing lasting customer relationships, will complement our initiative of strengthening Haulotte’s position in North America.”
Duque recently held positions as vice president of sales for Terex Aerial Work Platforms, both nationally and internationally. Before that, he was director of international sales for H&E Equipment Company, Baton Rouge, La.
