Trojan Battery Selects a UK Distributor

Trojan Battery Co., Santa Fe Springs, Calif., announced a distribution agreement with UK Batteries, Manchester, England, which will expand Trojan’s presence and strengthen the company’s leadership in the region.

As Trojan’s authorized master distributor, UK Batteries will be responsible for overseeing the distribution and servicing of Trojan products in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

“Trojan’s strategic alliance with UK Batteries enables us to provide localized, dedicated sales and technical support services that our customers have come to expect,” said David Godber, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “By expanding our distribution in the U.K., Trojan can readily meet the demands of the region’s fast-growing market segments including golf, renewable energy, floor machine, and aerial work platforms.”

UK Batteries will offer Trojan’s broad line of deep-cycle flooded, AGM, and gel batteries. The company will maintain an extensive stock of Trojan battery models, ensuring product availability to meet immediate customer needs.  UK Batteries will also offer rapid delivery by managing its own transport operation across the U.K., and provide a battery recycling program that enables customers to trade in old batteries for discounts on replacements.
