Top Nissan Dealer Sales Professionals Awarded with Caribbean Cruise

Nissan Forklift Corp., Marengo, Ill., awarded a Caribbean cruise to its top dealers’ sales professionals in both new forklifts and aftermarket parts in its Pack for the Sun event.

More than 40 sales professionals joined Nissan Forklift personnel on a five-day cruise to the Caribbean as a thank you for their continued commitment to growing the Nissan Forklift brand.

To qualify for the trip, dealer sales managers and sales representatives were entered into three contest groups determined by their dealership’s market size in units. Parts managers and aftermarket personnel were entered into three contest groups determined by market sizes in total parts sold. The highest number of points determined the top sales representative in each contest group.

Participants took sail in mid-April and spent the trip experiencing a relaxing voyage with a variety of fun-filled activities, including the 2010 Pack for the Sun Nissan Forklift Sales Award ceremony.

“The annual trip is always a wonderful time for our sales representatives to interact with peers and executives in a fun and relaxing environment,” said James J. Radous III, vice president, sales and marketing. “It is also the perfect incentive and gift of thanks for all the hard work our Nissan Forklift dealers have done. They have chosen to be loyal to Nissan Forklift and we want to reward them for that.”

According to Debbie White, parts manager, Dyna-Lift of Florida, Inc., Tampa, Fla., who attended 2010 Pack for the Sun for the first time, “Pack for the Sun was so much more than I expected. It was a very informative experience and it made me very proud to be associated with Nissan Forklift.”
