Columbus McKinnon Introduces Man Guard Hoists

Columbus McKinnon Corp., Amherst, N.Y., has released the newly designed CM Man Guard Electric Chain Hoist in capacities from 1/4 to 3 tons. The Man Guard, which offers an overload clutch and a heavy duty rating, features an open design that allows for quick access to the brake and wiring for easy maintenance and adjustments.

The hoist is equipped with a heavy duty AC disk brake, precision gearing, and energy efficient electric hoist motors designed for each speed and capacity. The Man Guard comes with single speed or variable frequency drive units, and its standard rigid hook mounting is interchangeable with other mounting options sold separately. Most Man Guard units are currently in stock and are ready to ship.
