Power Towers New Livery

JLG Company, Power Towers Ltd is a leading manufacturer of low-level access equipment. It has announced that the brand will discontinue its traditional blue livery and adopt the JLG low-level access colours of orange and grey.

Jonathan Dawson, general manager of Power Towers, says, “The orange and grey expression of JLG’s low-level access product appearance offers a strong foundation in the access equipment market. In support of our long-term vision, growing the low-level access business, the revision of our colours is yet another step in increasing the global install base for our products. We anticipate that the first orange and grey machines will be marketed second half of this calendar year.”

When Leicester-based Power Towers was acquired by JLG, one of the goals was to realise its manufacturing potential and sales potential via JLG’s network while staying true to its position as pioneers in the industry. Meanwhile it has doubled machine shipments and gained significant traction on the US market.

In keeping with its pioneering spirit, the company also launches ATEX approved versions of the Eco and Peco lift. Equipped with revolutionary manual operation, the working range of these products is now extended into hazardous areas, where a potentially explosive mix of air and flammable gasses or air and dust or air, dust and gasses may occur. Within Europe ATEX certification of products for use in potentially hazardous atmospheres is compulsory. The ATEX proof Eco and Peco lifts are also available in an off-shore version, with three stage galvanised and paint process.

Last but not least, the Power Tower, the original product from the company, is now available as a Duo version. Equipped with stabilisers, the Power Tower Duo allows for two-person operation indoors improving job site productivity. Offering a working height of 5.1m, with a platform capacity is extended to 250kg. Deliveries have already begun to the market.
