Liebherr LPS 600 Mobile Harbor Crane Wins Crane of the Year Award

Liebherr Mobile Harbor Cranes’ LPS 600 portal based solution won the Crane of the Year award at the annual IBJ Awards ceremony in Antwerp, Belgium. The company has won the award for the last three years.

The award-winning LPS 600 can run on a diesel or an electric engine (prime mover), or combine the power of each system with the company’s new Pactronic hybrid drive, which offers increased handling performance.

The system offers double the hoisting power, resulting in improved hoisting and lowering up to 100 percent higher speeds. Pactronic also reduces exhaust emissions by 30 percent.

Since the LPS 600’s market launch in 2010, 10 units have already been delivered.
