The Coordinated Companies Celebrates 60th Anniversary

Coordinated Wire Rope, Coordinated Testing, and Coordinated Equipment companies are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. Founded by Stanley Fishfader after WWII, The Coordinated Companies, Wilmington, Calif., provides services and products to the two busiest ports in the United States servicing container terminals, marine towing, marine construction, aerospace, and petroleum.

In 2005, Fishfader sold the business to entrepreneur and testing guru Phil Gibson, owner and CEO of Tension Member Technology (TMT Labs), a world renowned testing laboratory in Huntington Beach, Calif. Gibson and Fishfader were friends and business associates for more than 30 years and decided to meld TMT Labs and The Coordinated Companies.

With four California locations, Coordinated services ports and offshore platforms as well as the entire state with products and services. Coordinated’s specialized testing facility in the Port of Los Angeles provides both static and functional testing on a large variety of lifting and handling components, measuring devices, tooling, hardware, cables, ropes, winches, and hoists.
