Ergologistics Lift’n Buddy Named 2012 Edison Award Finalist

The Lift’n Buddy mobile lifting device from Ergologistics, North Fargo, N.D., has been named as a finalist for the 2012 Edison Best New Product Awards in the Industrial Design Tools category. Since 1987, the Edison Awards have recognized ideas at the forefront of new products, services, marketing, design and innovation.

"I am extremely pleased to be a finalist for the 2012 Edison Awards in the category of Industrial Design,” said Aaron Lamb, president of Ergologistics. “This honor solidifies Lift'n Buddy's place in the market. Being in the field of this year’s finalists speaks well to the level of innovation we strive for.”

Lift'n Buddy is a mobile lifting device that combines a standard two-wheeler's durability and functionality with automatic lifting and lowering capabilities. Fabricated of durable, lightweight, extruded aluminum, the Lift'n Buddy has been designed with ergonomics and safety in mind for any moving and lifting job.

In addition, the device is environmentally friendly; the electric hand trucks feature a 100 percent recyclable battery and require no oil, gas, hydraulic fluid, or maintenance.
