Trelleborg Rebrands Elite XP and Premia Resilient Tires

Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Fairlawn, Ohio, is rebranding the Elite XP and Premia tires. The company has been manufacturing the Premia tire since the completion of the Watts Tyre Group acquisition in early 2011, and the Elite XP was acquired by Trelleborg in January 1988 but continued to be branded under the Bergougnan name through 2011. Both tires will now feature the Trelleborg brand name and logo on the sidewall.

“Trelleborg believes rebranding the Elite XP and Premia tires is an important step in light of our branding strategy, which will enhance the value and recognition of our offering,” says Andrea Tomaselli, marketing director of the Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Industrial Tires business unit. “The rebranding will make it easier for our customers to identify the tires as a premium Trelleborg product, continuing to bring value to our partners and customers."

Elite XP solid tires are OEM approved and offered in popular compounds such as non-marking and high load. Both the Elite XP and Premia solid tires are available in the core sizes that material handling equipment requires. These tires are primarily used in applications that require minimum downtime, such as manufacturing and distribution.
