Delta Rigging & Tools to Open New North Dakota Facility

Delta Rigging & Tools will be opening a new facility in Williston, N.D., at the end of May. The two-story building includes 3,600 square-feet of office space and a showroom, and 10,400 square-feet of warehouse space. The upgraded facility also includes some unique features: An apartment used by visiting employees from other locations, and a mezzanine level used to stock often requested inventory, such as hard hats and other safety equipment.

According to Robert Reed, Williston branch manager, the new space allows the 10 full-time employees to service customers more efficiently by providing more manufacturing room. This has reduced the lead time from order to delivery for custom products, and increased the amount of inventory that can be stored so even rare items can be stocked in greater numbers.

Customers will also enjoy the new showroom that displays the wide variety of products Delta offers. A customer might not know the name of an item, and the visual display helps ensure the correct selection. The experienced staff is available to explain the proper use so a customer has the right tool for the job.

"We have always offered our customers a fair price and timely delivery," Reed explained. "The additional space now allows us to stock even more inventory of what our customers need, and we have plenty of room to manufacture custom products to meet any need. The expansion has improved safety, efficiency and productivity for our employees, and the larger inventory and manufacturing space offers even greater selection and service for our customers."

An open house for the city of Williston is planned for May 31st from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and will feature door prizes, food and drink, and tours of the new facility.
