CMLabs Delivers Vortex Training Simulator to IUOE Local 721

CMLabs Simulations, a Montreal-based provider of operator training simulation for the heavy equipment industry, recently delivered a Vortex Mobile Crane simulator to the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 721 in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Vortex Training Simulators, a division of CMLabs, provides reconfigurable, real-time, immersive, physics-based simulators for operator training. CMLabs develops and markets simulation software, simulation services, and turn-key simulators. CMLabs' Vortex physics engine is the basis for a suite of crane and construction equipment simulators.

The training simulator delivered to IUOE Local 721 will be used at its Operating Engineers Training School to support the groups mandate to deliver skilled operators to the construction industry. Students will now have access to an immersive, high-fidelity, physically realistic simulator to enhance training.
