Comege opens new facility

Comege France, a market leading manufacturer of lifting equipment, has just moved to a new facility.

Started early March 2019, construction ended on 20 December: the facility has a 10.000sqm workshop and 600sqm of offices, doubling Comege’s capacity and enabling it to boost its activity.

Working for more than 30 years in the original workshop, which has been upgraded several times, Comege’s owners decided to build a state of the art production facility to cope with its growing business and help its continued expansion into International markets.

The new site includes new faster and more ergonomic machinery, including plasma cutting machines, automatic saw and an environmental friendly powder coating system.

Employing about 50 people, the plant is designed to accommodate 80. The whole project was designed to accommodate the staff in large and comfortable spaces.
