JLG announces sales changes in EMEAIR
JLG has announced that Etienne Bourcier returns to JLG, replacing Walter van Winckel, who is retiring in May 2021, as strategic key account director EMEAIR (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and Russia).
Van Winckel joined JLG in January 1997 as sales director, playing a crucial role at the start of JLG’s European Operations, based at that time in Uddingston, Scotland. Over a period of 23 years he has had different sales roles, supporting the establishment of different strategic sales offices and leading the European sales team. Since 2004 he has been responsible for JLG’s major accounts.
“We can do nothing but thank Walter for his tremendous contribution to our business throughout the years,” said Laurent Montenay, senior director of sales for JLG in EMEAIR. “Walter will retire from the business on May 1st, 2021.”
With the announced retirement, Etienne Bourcier has rejoined JLG as strategic key account director EMEAIR. Bourcier worked for JLG EMEA from 2010 through to 2016 as telehandler sales business director. The past years he’s worked as general manager major accounts EMEA at a large equipment manufacturer.
“With Etienne joining, we will have a result driven and highly engaged team member,” said Montenay. “He brings more than 20 years of international experience in the capital equipment business.”
