MPK06: all-rounder proves popular
The smallest in Jekko’s minipicker range, MPK06, has performed well in the first four months of 2021, with half of the planned units for the year already sold. “MPK06 drew the attention of both established and new customers right after the official launch, but we weren’t expecting such a big success in recent months,” said Alberto Franceschini, Jekko’s sales director. “The budget for 2021 was set at 160 units and around 80 machines have already been delivered: 20 units both in France and in Germany and the remaining ones in the other reference markets, like Central and Northern Europe, Northern and Latin America, and the Middle East.”
Fully electric, with a maximum payload of 600kg and the option of working either with a glass manipulator or a hook, MPK06 is versatile and suitable for many applications, such as: glass pane and frame installation, marble handling and, in pick-and-carry mode, in workshops and industrial maintenance. The MPK06 is designed to be easy to use and doesn’t require any specific training to be operated.
Following the success of MPK06, Jekko is now working on a new minipicker, MPK10, which will offer similar features as its smaller ‘brother’, but will lift up to 1t . The new model will be presented in the next few months.
