RiConnect Inc appoints a new team member in Europe

RiConnect is a Taiwan-based SaaS (software as a service) company specialising in critical asset management for the lifting industry.

To better serve the European market, RiConnect has appointed Marelize du Toit, as its new senior business development manager in Europe.

Du Toit has more than 13 years lifting industry experience. She gained most of her knowledge working for a steel wire rope and chain manufacturer as well as overhead crane manufacturers.

In order to provide better and real-time services to Ri Connect customers in the European market, du Toit will use her industry knowledge combed with RiConnect to promote the concepts of ‘Safety is Essential’ and ‘Digitalisation.’ She’s also excited to develop long-term relationships with customers.

RiConnect is a critical asset management SaaS solution composed of a reader, an NFC-
enabled electronic tag, and an application software system (APP). It is vital that
lifting equipment is safe to use and RiConnect enables manufacturers, distributors, asset owners, field operations employees, inspection operators and end-users to save and transfer information on one platform from the entire life cycle of manufacturing, use,
maintenance and retirement of products and assets to maintain a safer working environment.

RiConnect provides a way to read asset information at any time, anywhere, so provide a more efficient way to execute asset inspection management, which leads to cost and
