Haulotte Iberica and Mainsa Plataformas in refurbishment programme
Mainsa Plataformas, a leading Spanish rental company based in Heras, Cantabria, works with Haulotte Iberica to give a second life to its equipment. The refurbishment has started with three machines and will continue in the coming months with more Haulotte models.
The Haulotte Spanish subsidiary started their second life project in May with a H12 SD scissor lift. Another H12 SX scissor and one H23 TPX telescopic boom have already been restored to their full capacity.
The main modifications concern the restoration of some core mechanical parts, such as rings, axes, telescopic boom chains and pads. Luis Perez Santos, service manager at Haulotte Iberica said, “Our refurbishment solutions increase the machines’ lifespan significantly. They enhance the equipment’s safety and improve their residual value,”
To erase the signs of time, the Haulotte teams changed all the visible parts, including the labels, control box switches and painted the machines. “They now look like new ones,” Perez Santos said enthusiastically.
The subsidiary will soon bring new models into its fully equipped workshop located in Madrid to continue the refurbishment programme.
Ivan Morodo, general manager of Haulotte Iberica said, “We thank Mainsa for the trust they are placing in the Haulotte second life programme.”
