CFTS to share key insights at IMHX 2022

CFTS – the UK industry’s accrediting body for the inspection of materials handling equipment – will be using IMHX 2022 to share its latest developments with both end-users of lifting equipment and members of the trade.

Taking a prominent place on stand 5D12 – home to parent group UKMHA – CFTS will share important safety information including videos and visual guides showing all the components that must be tested in order to fulfil the requirements of UK legislation.

Representatives from CFTS will be on the stand throughout the event from the 6 to 8 September to demonstrate the latest equipment used by CFTS-accredited inspectors to ensure the most comprehensive and thorough examination. This includes chain gauges and a new innovation: fork wear gauges, to guarantee truly precise and repeatable measurement of key wear parts.

Visitors will also be able to explore the locations of more than 700 CFTS-accredited centres nationwide and find their nearest provider.

For those attending from within the materials handling industry, the CFTS stand will provide an opportunity to discuss what is required to become an accredited company, with details of forthcoming training opportunities for competent persons, supporting scheme management and administrative personnel.
