3D Lift Plan recognizes Level 3 certified experts
A1A Software has announced that more than 100 crane and rigging professionals achieved 3D Lift Plan certifications in 2023.
Individuals who achieved Level 1 Certified User, Level 2 Certified Professional, and Level 3 Certified Expert represented a variety of users. “3D Lift Plan is not just for crane rental companies,” said Tawnia Weiss, president of A1A Software. Steel erectors and fabricators, foundation and drilling contractors, industrial rigging and millright companies, foundation and drilling contractors, as well as general contractors and government agencies were among this year’s list of Certified Users.
“I especially want to congratulate the 27 people who became Level 3 certified. They are able to use all the features of 3D Lift Plan, create complicated multi-crane lifts, develop a critical lift plan, record a video of the lift, create advanced rigging plans, and more,” said Tawnia Weiss, President of A1A Software.
One of the new Certified Experts is John Oros, Operations Manager-Steel Erection for Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Avon, Indiana. The company is one of the premier providers of elevated water storage tanks in the country. Heavy and tandem picks with limited setup space is typical for water tower installation.
While Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors usually hires crane rental companies to do the lift, 3D Lift Plan gives them more information to guide the crane selection and enables the company to create the rigging plans and other documents customers require. “What used to take a couple of people three days to do, we will now be able to create in a few hours with one person,” said Oros.
Oros had attended a few of the online classes and soon realized that the Boot Camp would give him the tools he needed to master 3D Lift Plan in just a few days. “The experience was excellent and well worth my time,” he said.
