Haulotte and Farissia host event for Algerian customers
Haulotte, a European leader in the manufacturing of aerial work platforms, and Farissia BTP, a specialist in the rental and sale of the equipment, jointly organised an exclusive event in Oran, the second largest city in Algeria, on 8 February.
This event brought together over 30 customers, including representatives from major national companies operating in the oil and gas sector, for a day dedicated to the solutions designed to meet Algerian market needs.
During the day, participants had the opportunity to attend several workshops highlighting Haulotte’s expertise and Farissia BTP’s commitment to providing quality machinery to its customers.
Farissia BTP currently has 240 employees specialising in elevation and supports numerous working-at-height projects across the country. “Our strength lies in the proximity and responsiveness of our teams. With the support of the Haulotte teams, we are able to provide tailored solutions to our customers’ needs, as evidenced by the large-scale projects such as the Grand Mosque of Algiers or the construction of the Ali-la-Pointe Stadium in Douera (Algiers) where our aerial work platforms were present,” said Hichem Marsel, general manager of Farissia.
The partnership between Haulotte and Farissia is continuously strengthening due to a deep understanding of the market and the needs of local stakeholders. Thierry Séon, Haulotte’s general manager of the Africa zone, emphasised Haulotte’s commitment to being proactive and offering solutions that perfectly meet the needs of Algerian customers.
“The machines we offer to Farissia are equipped with the ‘hostile environment’ kit, which protects sensitive areas and controls from sand and dust. Today, we are also presenting to customers the possibility of installing protection for machines operating in ATEX zones,” explained Séon.
The Haulotte RTJ range, designed for robustness and versatility, was detailed during the event, including the HA41 RTJ PRO and the HA26 RTJ PRO, allowing customers to discover and test embedded innovations such as the Activ’Shield Bar and the Activ’Screen.
The event also marked the renewal of the distribution contract between Farissia BTP and Haulotte, thus illustrating the ongoing commitment of both companies to provide quality solutions and expert customer service to the Algerian market.
