Haulotte Germany’s double success

Haulotte Germany was honoured with the ‘German Excellence Award 2024’ in the category of ‘Outstanding Initiatives’ by the German Institute for Service Quality (DUP).

This prestigious accolade recognises the subsidiary for its comprehensive improvements in processes and organisation, driven by its employees through the internal Quality Management Program called ‘Yello’.

A jury of 25 individuals from the realms of economics, science, and media, chaired by Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister, bestowed awards upon 64 laureates across 12 categories. Regarding the award, Zypries stated, “The German economy boasts numerous remarkable achievements, yet they often remain in the shadows. This award sheds light on innovations, bringing them to the forefront to inspire other companies.”

Operational excellence is at the core of the German team’s priorities ensuring that its distributors and service partners maintain the same level of quality as the central operations. In pursuit of this goal, the European Marketing Team and the Haulotte Germany subsidiary welcomed several German distributors to the group’s headquarters, H3 in France, to discuss service quality matters.

Among the attending distributors were Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen, Ferdinand Schultz Nachfolger, SIMTEC Gmbh, and Jungbluth Firmengruppe. A full day was dedicated to products and service presentations, showcasing innovations such as the new rough terrain electric articulating boom HA16 E and the release of the diesel rough terrain articulating boom HA20 RTJ.

Emphasis was also placed on safety with the introduction of FASTN, the recently awarded universal and connected anchoring system. The remainder of the day included organisational meetings and demonstrations of digital tools tailored for distributors. All attending distributors were awarded the ‘Platinum’ label. The criteria for obtaining the Platinum label are numerous and rigorous, certifying that distributors offer an excellent level of support and service.

Thomas Wegler, general manager of the German subsidiary, expressed his satisfaction with the event: “In recent years, we have established a very strong network of partners, thanks to whom we have significantly increased our presence in the industrial client segment. With the introduction of our partnership program and the establishment of the Silver, Gold, and Platinum labels, we aim to acknowledge efforts to better guide our partners towards a distributor that perfectly meets their needs. This also allows us to ensure a consistent level of quality, both for product offerings and services.”
