Saltuk Erdemli appointed as general manager of BVS Cranes
Saltuk Erdemli has been appointed as the general manager of BVS Cranes, Turkey’s largest crane manufacturer. Effective from January 2025, Saltuk returns to this position where he had a successful tenure as general manager from 2010 to 2016, he brings a wealth of experience and leadership to guide the company into its next phase of growth.
With over two decades of expertise in management, business strategy, and engineering, Saltuk’s credentials include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His career highlights include leadership roles at Arlight Lighting (Swedish Capital ) and Ereğli Shipyard, showcasing his strong track record in driving innovation and operational excellence.
BVS Cranes stands as Turkey’s first and only crane producer listed on Borsa Istanbul, following its landmark IPO in 2023. Operating from three advanced factories in Ankara, the company boasts over 100,000sqm of production space and employs more than 500 people. BVS Cranes exports to 93 countries across six continents.
Recent years have seen significant growth in BVS Cranes’ international presence, with the establishment of service facilities in Duisburg and Mannheim in Germany, Salzburg in Austria, Sisseln in Switzerland, and Chicago in the USA. These expansions align with the company’s mission to deliver high-quality solutions and exceptional service to its global customers.
