Arnio new HR, Health & Safety Manager at GW Becker

GW Becker Inc, a custom design manufacturer of overhead cranes in North America, has promoted Melanie Arnio to HR, Health & Safety manager. After working in HR for five years, Arnio will take on the challenges and opportunities of becoming HR, Health and Safety manager.

With experience as an HR generalist in manufacturing, Arnio will complement GW Becker’s existing safety team by leading its efforts to establish a culture of safety throughout the entire company and ensure that it complies with all required health and safety standards. Arnio said, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to develop, promote and encourage continuous feedback in regards to safety topics and/or concerns, which will contribute to the overall success of the company.”

Arnio will work closely with all departments at GW Becker to consistently address and promote health, HR and safety measures to all employees. Her primary role is to investigate and prevent accidents and injuries, test for environmental hazards, verify need of safety equipment, supply and maintain all personal protective equipment, maintain all records and documentation, and complete all safety forms and OSHA 300 logs.
