First Maeda MC815C Crane Delivered in the UK
Lift Minicranes took delivery of the first MC815C Maeda Mini Crane in the UK last week. The 8t capacity crane strengthens its existing Maeda fleet.
The crane, ordered in custom livery, was supplied with the 1000kg Searcher Hook and 1500kg SWL hydraulic 2-section fly jib increasing maximum lifting height to 25.5m.
Extensive operator training was carried out at the customers’ premises in Leicester and the crane will be put straight out to work with several jobs coming up.
With a 19.6m tipping height, new 10.4in multi function touchscreen monitor and the added bonus of 1000kg pick and carry capacity, this crane is versatile with high lifting duties. New to this model is power lifting mode, joystick control, new Technos 2 radio telemetry system with joystick control, auto levelling via remote, auto crane stow via remote, MSOS (Maeda Safety Operation System) and an EU stage 3B compliant engine to make it environmentally friendly.
Standard features include outrigger interlock device, 2 speed powerful winch, hydrostatic transmission, data logger, 6/4/2 fall hook block, tilt sensor/alarm, hydraulic slew brake and 5-section pentagonal boom.
