GGR team launches website at Bauma

GGR Group’s new website – designed by the company’s in-house marketing team was launched at Bauma, 11 – 17 April Munich, Germany.

The 850 page-plus site, was developed in response to increasing customer demand for GGR’s services and products. In recent years, GGR has grown into a multi-million pound turnover business – a far cry from its small beginnings in 1995 when it was started by brother and sister team Graeme and Gill Riley.

Since then, its lifting machines have been used on high-profile projects including The Shard in London, Heathrow Terminal 5 and the Scottish Parliament building at Holyrood.

The website was built over the course of six months, and now has full mobile capabilities as well as videos and access to the company’s full catalogue of products and services.

A fresh web presence allows GGR to showcase their new products, including the Hydraulica 4000 Glass Vacuum Lifter which – with a lifting capacity of 4000kg – making it one of the largest in the UK.

Daniel Ezzatvar, marketing manager at GGR Group said, “We made the decision to develop this website in-house as it is an essential marketing tool that will grow with the business.

“Customers are becoming more technologically savvy [knowledgeable] than ever before; they want information at their fingertips in an instant. That’s why it was important for our site to be mobile-friendly and updated regularly.

“It fits in with our ethos of engaging customers before, during and after sales, and constantly seeking out new business opportunities in a diverse range of markets.”

Graeme Riley, chief executive of GGR Group, said, “As a company, we’ve always said we believe in innovation not imitation, and that extends to everything, not just our core business products and services.

“It’s a testament to the talent we have here at GGR that we were able to develop this website in-house.

“We’ve worked hard to create a website that showcases the range of products and services we offer, without losing the personal touch. That’s why we have photo galleries and videos showing our equipment at work in real-life situations, as well as in-depth information about how GGR Group became the success story it is today.”
