Lifting Gear Hire, ITI Team Up to Provide Rigger Training in Chicago

Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) and Industrial Training International (ITI) are partnering to offer prospective students of rigging the chance to train with two of the biggest names in the industry. ITI will be offering Rigging Gear Inspector Levels I & II and Lift Director & Critical Lift Planning at Lifting Gear Hire’s warehouse in Bridgeview, Ill. Students will have access to LGH’s 100,000 sq.-ft. warehouse, which provides room for ITI classes of varying sizes. Students also get to observe the behind the scenes processes of testing, inspecting, and certifying equipment.

Additionally, students who complete the Rigging Gear Inspector course will receive a three-year qualification and earn CEUs. All ITI courses and instructors are LEEA accredited, and the courses will be taught by ITI's technical director, Mike Parnell.

LGH and ITI teamed up to offer these courses because both companies understand the real-world challenges that riggers face. Both entities know the importance of offering quality equipment to ensure a safe and successful project every time. Collectively, LGH and ITI’s mission is to educate riggers on and expose them to the world’s safest equipment to better prepare them today for the rigging challenges of tomorrow.

The course dates for Rigging Gear Inspector will be on Dec. 7-9 and Dec. 14-16, 2015. Pricing for the class is $1695. The course dates for Lift Director & Critical Lift Planning will be Dec. 10-11 and Dec. 17-18, 2015. Pricing for the class is $1395.
