Columbus McKinnon adds larger capacity CM Bandit lever hoists

Columbus McKinnon Corp.’s CM Bandit, the first HMI-certified ratchet lever hoist, is now available in 3- and 6-ton capacities. These additions complement CMCO’s 3/4- and 1-1/2-ton units. The lightweight and compact CM Bandit was developed for the global market and features a 360° rotating handle, American-made gold chromate chain, zinc plating on major components for extra protection against corrosion, and forged upper and lower hooks that are bolted on and swivel for easy inspection and removal.

The new 3- and 6-ton models of the CM Bandit also feature the Tri-Point Hook Inspection System, which consists of three raised points on the hook that the operator can use to detect any indication of overload or deformation.

Since its introduction, the CM Bandit 3/4- and 1-1/2-ton models have been added to the In-Stock Guarantee to ensure it will be shipped in three business days or less, and CM Smart ID has been added as a standard feature for all Bandit units in the U.S. market. CM Smart ID chips are associated with detailed product specifications before the hoist leaves the CMCO factory. This information can then be integrated into inventory and inspection management systems for more effective tracking of safety and hoist location information.

Most recently, Columbus McKinnon made CM Bandit parts available through its new Parts Star Program to receive genuine parts faster and easier with Total Repair Kits and economical bulk packaging.
