Demag Cranes Selected by Precast Concrete Company | Industry News

Terex Material Handling announced an order for a 20-ton Demag top-running, double-girder crane from Granite Precasting & Concrete Inc., a precast concrete product provider based in Bellingham, Wash. The company offers a number of products, such as manholes, catch basins, vaults, trench and concrete pipes and provides custom-designed options for products, including boat ramp planks, pipe sleds, and panel vaults.  

“One hour of downtime costs us approximately $2,500 in production losses,” says Kyle Salisbury, chairman of Granite Precast. “Thus we needed a crane that was extremely reliable without compromising safety or speed.”
