Ship-to-Shore Container Cranes for Egypt

Killarney, Ireland-based Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. will supply Megamax and Super Post Panamax ship-to-shore container cranes to the Alexandria Container & Cargo Handling Co. for service in Alexandria and Dekheila in Egypt.

The crane destined for Alexandria has a waterside outreach of 45m, a span of 15m, a landside backreach of 19.5m with a lift height of 33m. The unit for the Dekheila port will have a waterside outreach of 56m, a landside backreach of 19.5m, a span of 15m and a lift height of 38m.

The SWL of the both cranes is 60 tonnes under twin lift spreader. Hoist, trolley and travel speeds are the same on both cranes: 60-150m/min hoist speed, 180m/min trolley speed and 45m/min crane travel speed.

Crane drives are Liebherr AC and both cranes will be delivered in fully erect mode.
