Gersag and SWF team up for overhead crane installation

Gersag Krantechnik GmbH made and installed three bridge cranes and three order assembly cranes using SWF Krantechnik GmbH technology.

The bridge cranes, each with a load capacity of 2 x 4t and a span of 29.01m, are equipped with Nova electric wire rope hoists from SWF, while the order assembly cranes have a load capacity of 2 x 3.2t each with a span of 8m.

The Nova electric wire rope hoists are equipped with frequency-controlled hoist motors to ensure stepless and smooth hoisting.

Two cranes were designed in double girder version with a platform and one as a single girder bridge crane. All three systems are radio-controlled. They also have electronic sway control from SWF, monitoring all movement, lifting height and speed, regulating acceleration and brake ramps.
