Akerstroms launches new remote control

Swedish control company Åkerströms has launched a new remote control suited to the operation of winches, among other technologies. The Sesam 800 Configurable will join the Sesam 800 family, which was launched in 2009.

The 800 Configurable is a robust multi-system with six configurable functions. The receiver is equipped with six switches and a fibre-reinforced plastic housing for tolerating extreme environments where there are high demands on resistance. The system is of class IP 67, and can be exposed to humidity, water and dust without interruptions.

The transmitters have distinct and light-pressured buttons and are available in two models; one with layout 1-6 and one with a blank layout where it is possible to customise the frame around the buttons with the user’s own symbols.

The Sesam 800 Configurable system utilises the 869 MHz frequency band with 12-channel automatic frequency selection.
