Kalmar Webinar for Port and Terminal Operators

Cargotec brand Kalmar is staging a series of SmartPort webinars to address what it refers to as an increased awareness of process automation concepts at ports and terminals.

Webinars are targeted at those curious to learn what process automations are; what added value they might have for people who work at terminals; and the support options available.

The webinars are open to all terminal operators, consultants and media. Each will be approximately 40 minutes, including questions and answers. They will be interactive with the ability to chat with SmartPort experts and include a case study and demonstration of the SmartMap visualisation tool.

The first webinar takes place on 2 May and addresses the process automation solutions applicable to movements between the vessels and the yard area. Part of the presentation will be a case study of a realised application and a demonstration of the SmartMap graphical user interface.
