Haulotte Group Opens Indian Subsidiary

As a company, Haulotte Group has developed a strategic focus on “Customer Proximity,” with the objective work in areas where customers are located. The company said there are many opportunities to expand the strategy in emerging countries that have strong potential, particularly in India. The company announces it has established a new subsidiary in India to meet customer’s growing needs in the region.

Alexandre Saubot, Haulotte’s chief operating officer, said: “Haulotte Group is building a strong sales network in BRIC nations, thanks to their own entities and a dealer’s network, in order to established proximity relationship with customers, to provide them products who fit their requirements and additional services (like training, spare parts, financial solution, etc.). The new sales subsidiary in India,
based in Mumbai, illustrates this involvement.”

Souma RAY, the subsidiary manager, said: “Haulotte Group established a sales and service operation in Mumbai, one of the key places of this huge country with a great potential market for people and material lifting equipment. It’s a major challenge for me and our team.”

Damien GAUTIER, Asia-Pacific area Director, added: “The boom of AWP demand on BRIC nations is mainly driven by the Safety standards which will be implemented in the area. Haulotte India is proud to be a key partner of rental companies’ network, and end-users who are involved in this key issue.”

Haulotte India is now ready to be the local partner of Indian customers.
