Åkerströms Wins Major Remote Control Order – Industry News

Åkerströms Björbo AB has won a major order worth approximately SEK900,000 from Timars Svets & Smide in Falkenberg. The order relates to the reconstruction of older trucks, including the refurbishment of 40 existing vehicles to equip them with Åkerströms’ remote control solutions. The remote control solutions will be used for functions for loading and unloading bridge sections.

“We’re delighted to be able to announce that we have been chosen for this significant order,” says Andreas Hedström, director of Sales and Exports, Åkerströms Björbo AB. “We will supply a customised solution based on the customer’s particular requirements, which will feature a combination of remote control and cable control.”
