Autec Adds Features to Air Series Radio Remote Controls

New features have recently been implemented in Autec’s Air Series radio remote controls. The series includes transmitters with eight, six, or four push buttons and is particularly suitable for industrial lifting applications and automations.

Main radio features include bi-directional radio communication, automatic search for a free frequency at start-up, and incorporated dual band radio to operate at approved frequencies in several markets around the globe. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery allows long operation (40 hours) and does not suffer memory effect; furthermore, a 15-minute recharge will allow up to three hours of operation.

A ready-to-use backup transmitter may be supplied, eliminating any need to act on the receiver to replace the transmitter. Systems with multiple receiver or transmitters are now available for special needs, such as tandem mode and take and release).

All Autec radio control products are designed with integrated safety functions (i.e. protected from faults) according to the latest international functional safety standards (ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061).
