Camoplast Solideal Launches “Drive for the Cure” Campaign

Camoplast Solideal, Charlotte, N.C., launched a "Drive for the Cure” campaign during this year's MODEX Show in Atlanta, Ga., to support the fight against gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer. The company designed a limited edition of its high performance Poly tire to support the cause. The tire will be available in sizes of premium 90 durometer compound, designed for long runs and multi-shift operations and suitable for most Class 2 operations.

The Limited Edition "Drive for the Cure” Purple tire will be available in the United States during the month of April 2012 through the Camoplast Solideal dealer network and service centers. To support the campaign, the company developed merchandising and a series of postcards with cancer survivor testimonials from the material handling industry. Camoplast Solideal employees will also support the campaign by wearing “Drive for the Cure” T-Shirts and raising funds for the cause.

Through the campaign, Camoplast Solideal will make a donation of 50 percent of the profits of every purple tire sold during the campaign month to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, with a committed minimum donation of $5,000.
