Cherrypicker Shop rebrands, expands parts sales team

Cherrypicker Shop Ltd, the County Durham, UK-based specialist supplier of access equipment parts, have rebranded to better reflect the company’s focus on parts and increased sales to platform hire companies as well as end users and engineers. The business will trade in future under the CPS Access Platform Parts identity, although the retail online web shop will retain the www.cherrypickerparts.co.uk domain for the time being.

At the same time a new position of field-based Key Accounts Manager has been created and experienced access parts specialist Ben Jones appointed to the role.

“We have built the parts business rapidly with end users and independent service engineers since we started in 2020. Now with growing demand from mid-size and even larger rental companies we need to make sure we have the capability to properly support these customers,” says CPS director Tom Cribb.

“With 19 years’ experience in access platform parts with IPS, and more latterly in a field sales role with TVH, Ben is ideally qualified to provide the technical and customer service our key account customers will need”.

A multi-brand supplier of parts for all types of access platform, as well as Genie SLA lifts, CPS maintain extensive stocks of parts in their UK warehouse at Crook, County Durham. They provide a one-call solution for mixed hire fleets and engineers working on multiple manufacturer’s machines, increasingly with next-day delivery from stock.
