CLARK Material Handling Wins 2012 Kemi Destiny Award

CLARK Material Handling Co., won the 2012 KEMI Destiny Award presented by Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance (KEMI).  KEMI is a mutual insurance company providing workers’ compensation coverage to more than 21,500 policyholders throughout Kentucky.

“KEMI is pleased to once again present this safety award to CLARK Material Handling Company in recognition of their commitment to maintaining a safe workplace,” said Roger Fries, president and CEO of KEMI. “As a two-time Destiny Award winner, Clark understands the heavy responsibility they carry and they have risen to the challenge by making safety a top priority.”

“Clark is proud to receive this award for the second year in a row, we take great pride in the culture of safety that we have established and engrained in our facilities. Being selected for the KEMI Destiny Award exemplifies and affirms the dedication and commitment that all Clark employees have to safety in our workplace,” said Dennis Lawrence, president  and CEO of Clark. “Safety at Clark is a collaboration of supportive leadership, safety conscience employees, safe manufacturing and distribution processes, and dedicated employees that work hard and really care.”

In addition to receiving their second KEMI Destiny Award, Clark  has also been a recipient of the Kentucky Governor’s Safety & Health Award five times for having no lost time accidents.
