Clark Rigging and Rental Acquires Webster Crane Service

Lockport, N.Y.-based Clark Rigging and Rental Corp. recently acquired the assets of Webster Crane Service from its parent company, Boulter Industrial Contractors. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1954, Clark Rigging and Rental has grown its crane rental services and lifting solutions throughout Western and Central New York and Northern Pennsylvania. With the acquisition of Webster, Clark has increased its branch operations in the region to three full service depots with more than 50 pieces of modern lifting equipment.

According to David F. Clark, vice president of Clark Rigging and Rental, this latest acquisition further demonstrates Clark's commitment to its customers to be a one-stop, full service crane rental organization.

"It is the primary goal of Clark Rigging and Rental to consistently provide our customers with modern, high-quality equipment coupled with exceptional service,” he said. “We feel that the Webster Crane acquisition will maintain and expand our clientele base by providing the same high-quality local service we are known for with a more complete line of rental equipment."
