CMC plans a busy year
As widely expected, 2022 finally marks the return of physical events and face-to-face meetings between the players in the lifting industry. The first of these was the IAPA Awards 2022, the most prestigious networking event in the field, held in London on 10 March at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington. Being always focused on seizing these opportunities to strengthen its communication positioning and market presence, CMC chose to take part in the event as the headline sponsor.
Alessandro Mastrogiacomo, CMC’s export sales director, said, “The sponsorship of the IAPA Awards allows us to demonstrate our relevance in the United Kingdom, one of our company’s main markets. Over the last three years, we have consolidated our position in this market and also thanks to CMC UK, our new subsidiary, we expect to continue to grow throughout 2022.”
CMC will also be exhibition at VertiKal Days in Peterborough, UK, on 11 – 12 May, an event dedicated to the access and lifting equipment industry. For the second year running, CMC has been chosen by IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) to exhibit the CMC S18F MY 2022 on its stand, reinforcing the link between safety and CMC.
In Lillestrøm, Norway from 11 to 14 May, CMC will take part in the 17th edition of the Vei Og Anlegg exhibition together with its dealer in the Nordic countries. This is an important opportunity to achieve visibility in a country where CMC tracked aerial platforms are gaining an increasing market share. The same can be said for Germany, where there has been a marked increase in orders thanks to the constant efforts of the German subsidiary CMC Arbeitsbühnen.
CMC will take part in Born To Lift in Würzburg, Germany on 24 and 25 May. Then, later in the year at Bauma 2022, which will take place in Munich from 24 to 30 October, after the break due to the pandemic.
Emphasising the importance that CMC places on training in the correct us of spider platforms, from 26 May in Bologna, CMC will be the Platinum Sponsor of IPAF ANCH’IO, the main Italian event of the association that promotes the safe use of powered access equipment.
The engagement with IPAF will continue with CMC’s participation as both exhibitor and event sponsor at Europlatform 2022 in Rome on 15 September. Finally, after the European Bauma, CMC’s last trade show engagement for 2022 will be in China, for Bauma China, an event that will take place in the SNIEC congress centre from 22 to 25 November, and which will see CMC playing a leading role, with its Chinese dealer High Boom Lift.
