Emotional Intelligence Expert Named to Engineering News-Record’s Top 25 Newsmakers List

Brent Darnell, founder and CEO of Brent Darnell Intl. and author of The People-Profit Connection, was recently named one of Engineering News-Record’s Top 25 Newsmakers. Darnell is a leading authority on emotional intelligence and a pioneer in its use in the construction industry.

Engineering News-Record chose the Top 25 Newsmakers based on their outstanding accomplishments, such as exceeding their day-to-day duties, injecting an original idea or new approach that would take the place of traditional practices, or performing a special service that benefits the industry and the public. All of the winners will be honored at a gala in New York City on April 12.

Darnell will present the closing session titled “Primal Safety: A gut-level approach using emotional intelligence to enhance your safety program” at MCM Events’ jointly-held Crane & Rigging Conference and Industrial Crane & Hoist Conference (CRC/ICHC), May 23-24, in New Orleans, La.
