findadistributor.com to Address Reseller Community at ProMat

North America’s directory of material handling equipment dealers and resellers, findadistributor.com, will leverage ProMat’s ability to attract its target demographic by exhibiting at the bi-annual trade show, 8-11 April at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

The online directory, launched in 2014, has chosen to place ProMAT at the centre of its marketing strategy, following success two years ago and last spring at ProMat’s sister event, Modex. The Chicago-based fair draws crowds from many industrial sectors, including those who distribute products to regional end users.

Mark Bridger, founder and CEO at findadistributor.com, said, “ProMat and findadistributor are kindred spirits in that we both try to facilitate connections in the supply chain. A greater volume of end users are using our site every day to find local providers of the material handling equipment that keeps their facilities moving. It’s a community that resellers are keen to tap into – and manufacturers recognise the expanding role we’re playing in driving utilisation of their equipment.”

The aim of findadistributor.com is to connect material handling equipment distributors and dealers with end users consuming their equipment. Companies providing a product or service related to the lifting, movement, and storage of materials in North America, can upload their own details via a simple payment procedure to be found by end users looking for the right equipment for the job in hand. The concept supersedes alternative online marketing tools that are too broad in geography or generic in audience.

Listings on findadistributor.com can include logo, address, telephone, fax, email, website and recent social media posts, plus a list of products and services. All company information is made readily available for buyers to source by US state, town or city; product category; or company name. Search results even include a detailed Google Maps image of the location of the reseller. The website also hosts details of relevant manufacturers and training providers putting the entire material handling and logistics network in one easy-to-use directory.

Bridger said, “I have worked with companies in North America's industrial equipment sector for many years and wanted to provide a cost-effective marketing tool for distributors and providers who serve specific geographic areas. Material Handling Industry’s (MHI) pair of trade shows have proven to be an effective means to engage our community. ProMat in particular is an opportunity that comes around only every 24 months to meet hundreds of resellers, in person, under one roof. That alone makes it a fulcrum for continued growth. We’re excited about another huge week in the Windy City—and look forward to sharing our success stories at the show hashtag [#ProMatshow] from our popular Twitter handle [@FADnetwork].”
