Flexco reduces employee fatigue and improves workflow.

Flexco in Alabama, USA is a manufacturer of rubber and vinyl flooring. Before the Gorbel Easy Arm  Intelligent Lifting Device was installed employees had to manually unload 40, 70 and 80lb pound rolls of vinyl.

Realizing the manual lifting was as an ergonomic issue, the management at Flexco researched the options available with the help of Roy Ross at Right Solutions, Inc. They quickly decided that the Gorbel Easy Arm along with a custom made end effector was the best solution due to the ergonomic benefits that these products combined could provide.

With the lift assist device in place the feedback from the workforce has been very positive. Management is pleased that it is making the employees jobs safer and easier. Plant Engineer, Mark Brazeale stated he prefers the Gorbel Easy Arm over other products.
