G.W. Becker Names Training Manager

G.W. Becker, Inc., Hermitage, Pa., a manufacturer of overhead cranes, has named Larry Lynn training manager. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the crane and hoist industry and is "looking forward to developing a first-class training program.” The initial programs will be operator training and crane inspection training.

Lynn will be responsible for all aspects of the programs, from authoring training material, to classroom presentation and hands-on training. He started in the crane and hoist industry at Lift-Tech in 1986 as a product designer, being promoted in 1989 to application engineer. He also spent time in manufacturing engineering, and in 2007 was appointed product trainer for the Yale Lift Tech division. Lynn has a BS in Manufacturing Technology graduating from Western Michigan University in 1987.
