Genie Opens Oklahoma City Training Center | Industry News

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) announces the 18,000 sq.-ft. Genie Oklahoma City Training Center is open and operational. Genie will also continue to offer training at its Redmond, Wash. campus.

The Oklahoma City facility’s amphitheater-style training room provides comfortable seating for up to 12 students. The classes are small, allowing for personable hands-on training where the trainer is able to focus his attention on the student. A variety of large Genie units are on site and available for classroom and hands-on technical experience.

Technicians will gain an in-depth knowledge of Genie control systems through activities including schematic reading and connection software use. They will be able to proficiently demonstrate the ability to calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot Genie scissor lifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts with the aid of available tools such as schematics, service manuals, connection software, and tech tips.
