Jekko has appointed a new regional sales manager-LATAM

Bilingual computer engineer Jorge C Menocal, with over 20 years’ experience in the lifting sector, is Jekko’s new regional sales manager-LATAM (Latin America).

Menocal has built up a wide knowledge of the sector during his previous jobs as sales support in the export sales and market development departments of several international companies such as United Rentals and Herc Rentals in the United States and Máquinarias Paco in Spain.

Alberto Franceschini, Jekko’s sales director said, “We have decided to invest in Jorge C Menocal because we think he’s a key player in the South-American market and we hold him in high esteem. Now, we have a leading figure in South America that will overcome the distances, serve the network better and assist from close up the rental companies in a market where Jekko expects a sharp increase over the next 5 years”.

Jekko aims at consolidating its presence in the South-American market to meet the increasing demand of machinery. The JF545 cranes are already in use in two prestigious yards in Mexico and the SPX532 exported to Chile and Mexico are showing good results, together with a wide demand for the MPK20 and MPK50 in Uruguay and Argentina, respectively.
