JLG to Display Personal Portable Lifts and Compact Crawler Boom at NFMT
JLG Industries, Inc., McConnellsburg, Pa., will display its LiftPod personal portable lifts and X550AJ Compact Crawler Boom in Booth #2029 at the National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Conference & Expo, March 13-15, 2012, in Baltimore, Md.
JLG’s LiftPod FS60 is the latest addition to the LiftPod line of personal portable lifts that features a 12-foot working height and 6-foot standing height. For added productivity, one worker can complete tasks with a 360° range of motion in the enclosed platform. In addition, an attachable work tray holds up to 33 pounds of tools and materials.
The LiftPod has three lightweight components that can be assembled in 30 seconds. Its compact 30-inch base and non-marking rear caster wheels enable operators to move the LiftPod through doorways without disassembling it. After the job has been completed, the lift can be taken apart and placed in the back of a pick-up truck, van or SUV for portability between work sites.
JLG’s line of Compact Crawler Booms includes three models, with working heights ranging from 45 to 75 feet. They feature a tracked wheel carriage that climbs steps and a narrow chassis for access through gates, yards, doorways and public buildings. Because of their lightweight design, they can be used on sensitive flooring and on landscaping.
For increased mobility, the booms include a hydraulic jib, rotation of platform and zero-turn radius with counter rotation. The lightweight units have adjustable track widths for stability and can fit on a trailer or tilt-back truck for portability. The machines include options for a gas, diesel or electric engine, which is combined with a standard electric AC motor that reduces noise and emissions.
