JMG opens new headquarters

At the end of May, Italian crane manufacturer, JMG Cranes hosted the Grand Opening its new manufacturing facility.
The new production facility is an industrial complex dedicated to innovation in lifting, which has been christened the, “Crane Citadel.” On 25 May JMG unveiled a space entirely dedicated to pick-and-carry crane innovation, where the company is working to make these machines ever more high-performance, innovative and green.
JMG Cranes, which specializes in the production of electric cranes, is committed to making work easier and safer, with innovative solutions that are also sustainable in terms of environmental impact.
The development includes an 8000sqm building where production, warehouses, part of R&D and a small number of offices were relocated over a year ago and which quickly filled up. JMG says that this was clear indication of the exponential growth enjoyed by the Piacenza-based manufacturer, which has machines operational in every continent worldwide.

The company’s success triggered the need to quickly upsize its facilities in order to adapt and respond to market demands, which meant accelerating the existing development plans for the headquarters in Via Zuccherificio in Sarmato.

In November 2023, work on the second new 6000sqm building was completed with the
installation of the second JMG sign. This new building is adjacent to the first one and is used to house the warehouse and the components for both production
and the spare parts service.

At the same time, renovation works awere made on the Art Nouveau building that was part of the former sugar refinery, where all the sales, technical and marketing offices are now located.

The official opening of new new JMG facility was attended by customers, press, local dignitaries and the company’s workforce.
